Welcome to spring and to rooftop season!!!
One of my favorites is Sandbar Rooftop, located at the 23rd floor of Fashion District Hilton.
A cute lifeguard chair will welcome you as you walk into the hotel hall. As the elevator doors open, you’ll notice Vespa converted into a wine rack/hostess table and an amazing Downtown Manhattan view.
The Hamptons style – blue and white decor – and the swings made out of whiskey barrels are immediately relaxing. The Good Vibes neon sign couldn’t be more accurate… you could almost forget of the concrete jungle all around, if it wasn’t for the extraordinary view of both the WTC and the Empire State Building 🤩
Perfect location for a friends night out and/or a date.
You can drink one of their handcrafted cocktails, designed by Sandbar’s house mixologist, while eating some roman pinsa and/or other snack!
Due to limited capacity, reservations are required to secure seating (guests must be 21 and over).
Reservations include a $25 pre-paid minimum spend, which will be applied as a credit to your check. Cancellations can be made up to 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full amount as a no-show fee.
Sandbar is cashless – they accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
To accomodate everyone, parties up to 4 guests have a 75-minute limit, 5-6 guests have a 90-minute limit, and 6-10 guests have a 105-minute limit. Groups exceeding 10 guests are not allowed at New York City restaurants at this time. The staff is FANTASTIC: they will allow you to stay longer if your table is not rebooked for another party.
