Ciaooo!!!
* That’s the way I started to say hi in my videos years ago, so I want to welcome you here in the same way… with my “signature Ciao” 😉
I’m Italian and English is my second language so please, forgive any mistake you’ll read on my blog.
I’m Laura, Brooklynite from Italy. I moved to NYC in 2007 and since day one I started sharing my personal discoveries and insights with all NYC lovers.
Two years later, my dear friend Elena encouraged me to start a blog in Italian about The City, and she helped me creating VivereNY.it.
Not too long after, a lot of people from NYC and from all over the world started to follow me on Facebook and Instagram as well, asking me a lot of questions as they didn’t understand Italian, so I began to write English captions to my pics… now it’s time for my blog to be international as well 😉
As an actress and dancer, I worked on stage in Italy till the night before leaving for the US.
It has not been easy to start all over – I barely spoke English and I had no visa when I first came – and yet, when you listen to your heart and follow your dreams everything becomes possible!
Today I’m an US citizen, I live in Brooklyn, I work as a fitness instructor for Crunch and I’m developing my own projects as an actress and producer.
One of my favorite things to do is walking over the Brooklyn Bridge… and strike a pose on one of its cables – one of the classes I love teaching is Pole Dance.

After many year of living in NYC, she’s still enchanted by its beauty and she gets lost in its everyday corner where she always discovers something new and unusual.
