The event takes place on Governors Island – little island located at the South of Manhattan. With its colonial houses and the old fort it’s the perfect location for jazz, flappers, feathers, suspenders, and swing.
Jazz Age Lawn Party is the world’s original and largest Prohibition Era inspired gathering: NOT TO BE MISSED!!!

While 1920’s attire is not mandatory, it is HIGHLY encouraged!
Are you looking for the perfect outfit? I usually get mine at Buffalo Exchange for $15/20, and you can also find great pieces at the vintage clothing vendors on the lawn.
What to bring: blanket, picnic musts, and insect repellent. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. There’re fabulous gourmet food trucks and drink vendors right on the lawn.
