Growing up, I spent my summers racing on Optimist Sailboats, and being on the water will always make me happy!!!
Luca and I went for a sightseeing cruise in NYC with Classic Harbor Line last spring and, even though the weather wasn’t perfect, we loved it!!!
We sailed for about 2 hours on America 2.0, a vessel modeled after one of the winners of the first “America’s Cup” in 1851 – and it was spectacular!
A Magical Evening on the City Lights Sail
A few nights ago, I went on another cruise adventure – New York City Skyline Night Sailboat Tour – with Laura, one of my best friends, and WE LOVED IT!!!!
Sailing at night around Manhattan is the most amazing experience ever!!!
As part of the experience, you get a complimentary drink while you’ll be mesmerized by the incredible views of the NYC skyline, Downtown Manhattan, and Statue of Liberty. I’m pretty sure you’ll love it as much as we did.
Special Moments on Board
Last spring, on our cruise, we witnessed a marriage proposal and discovered that two other passengers were celebrating their birthdays. It’s definitely a great way to celebrate special moments!!!

I personally LOVE Classic Harbor Line because they offer more intimate, curated, and tailored experiences that make every cruise feel really special and unforgettable. You can sail on Manhattan, 1920s-inspired yachts, or Adirondack, 1890s pilot schooner-inspired sailing boats.
They have a variety of incredible options to suit any occasion, I’m sure you’ll find the perfect cruise for you:

The crew is fantastic – they were all attentive, entertaining, and always making sure we had the best experience.
Most cruises depart from Chelsea Piers (Pier 62) at W. 22nd Street and the Hudson River in New York.
A few cruises leave from North Cove Marina at Brookfield Place, New York.
What to bring:
– Light snacks
– Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen (for the daily tours) and a light jacket in case of wind – They provide ponchos for everyone onboard in case of rain.
