I love when NYC turns pink… well, my Instagram account changes accordingly. This screenshot is from my 2021 IG feed, I can’t wait to see how 2024 will look like! 🙃
I’m obsessed with everyday Mother Nature’s miracles and I fall in love with NYC each season for a different reason.
“Every flower blooms in its own time”.
Late March and beginning of April you might be able to capture the first blossoming at Bridle Path, west side of the Reservoir, while the East side it usually bloom a little later.
Here’s a list of my favorite spots all over the city:
Central Park
I usually start from Central Park West to catch the beautiful Yoshino and Kwanzan cherry trees blossoming. Here’s my favorite locations:
- Bridle Path – around 89th Street, West Side of the Reservoir
- Reservoir – from the Engineer’s Gate, around 90th Street on the East Side, to Bridle Path
- The Obelisk – behind the Met Museum
- Pilgrim Hill – around 72nd Street, East Side
- Cedar Hill – around 78th Street, East Side
- Cherry Hill – around 72nd Street, in the Center of the Park, close to the Bow Bridge
Roosevelt Island
Four Freedoms Park usually holds an amazing Roosevelt Island Sakura… which didn’t happen for the past two year. You can still enjoy the beautiful cherry trees line around the East River, south of the Queensboro Bridge.
I’d suggest you to experience the 4 min ride on the Roosevelt Island Tram, as alternative you can always take the F train to Roosevelt Island.
Park Avenue
Around 38th Street and Park Avenue, you can take a picture of the Grand Central Terminal framed by beautiful cherry blossoms and magnolias.
Madison Square Park
The beauty of the cherry trees around 23rd Street and 5th Avenue will almost let you forget about the scaffolding around the Flatiron.
Washington Square Park
Make sure to capture the magic of the Washington Square Park Arch framed by magnolias and cherry blossoms!!!
Grace Church
There’s something divine about these pink flowers, don’t you think?
Boerum Hill
I lived in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn for over 11 years, and I LOVE MY old NEIGHBORHOOD – we just purchased an apartment on Prospect Lefferts Garden last December, and even if I”m very happy about our new place, my heart will always belong here as well. There are so many gorgeous cherry trees and magnolias you can spot while walking around.
This is Dean street, my street, between Hoyt and Bond. Make sure to stroll by!
Brooklyn Botanical Garden
Enjoy the most vibrant cherry blossom display by visiting the Brooklyn Botanic Garden… it’s one of the most romantic NYC scenery!!!!

The cherry blossoms in York City are simply breathtaking. The delicate pink petals create a magical atmosphere.
