NYC might be one of the most expensive cities in the world, however it also offers incredible experiences for free: Bloomtanica in the Meatpacking District is one of them!
I’ve just been to its preview with friends, and we’re all still in awe.
Celebrity floral designer Jeff Leatham has worked his magic, transforming the lower level of Genesis House into a one-of-a-kind landscape inspired by the lush atmosphere of traditional Korean gardens. From cascading floral arrangements to larger-than-life mesmerizing installations, every corner invites you into a surreal world of vibrant colors and intricate designs.
This multi-dimensional floral immersion aims to evoke a sense of harmony, regeneration, and transformation, and you can step into this floral wonderland for FREE!!! Simply walk into Genesis House and head downstairs.

Fun Fact
Guess who I spotted during the preview night? None other than the legendary Whoopi Goldberg herself!!! While I was so tempted to approach her and express my admiration for her incredible talent (I LOVE HER!!!), I embraced my inner New Yorker and opted not to interrupt her conversation with Jeff Leatham. After all, celebrities don’t get stopped in the streets of NYC – LOL. Just being in the same room as her was a thrill in itself!
If you’re looking for a unique and incredible cool experience to do in New York City, or if you love art and flowers, make sure to experience Bloomtanica: you won’t regret it! Ciaooo!!!
Hello. Iβve read some reviews. It is really free? Whatβs the actual opening time and closing time ? Also, read that the staff are very rude . Thanks in advance.
Ciaooo!!! Yes, it’s free π I went back other two times since I posted this article. As you enter the Genesis Home, you can head downstairs on your own -no one stopped us – or ask for directions if you’re not clear about where to go. I haven’t had issue with the rude staff till now, on the contrary, everyone always seemed very welcoming and I also met a guy (too bad I don’t remember his name) shared with us all his NYC tips!!! Check it out for yourself, have fun, and I look forward to hearing what you think!
Have an awesome day!!!
