Once a year – couple of weeks before Christmas – in NYC looks like everyone is dressed up as Santas, reindeers, Christmas trees, elfs, presents or anything else that reminds you of the holiday – New Yorkers are famous for their creativity!
We are talking about Santacon, a charitable, non political, nonsensical Santa Claus convention to spread absurdist joy…
Dress up and show up at Broadway and 40th Street at 10am on Saturday Dec 11, 2021 🎅
Show your ID, proof of vaccination and your “Santa Badge” ($14) at the door of each bar and you can party all day long! All money collected goes to charity.
Even if New Yorkers usually refers to Santacon as Santa Crawl – or drunk Santas – invece che Santa Claus, organizers claim: “Santacon is not a crawl bar . Every time you call it that, a sugarplum fairy dies”.
