I’m so excited, honored, and humbled to partner up with my NYC dream account @nycgo 🥰🗽🚕
They asked me to create my personal NYC itinerary to share on NYCgo.com website as part of their new “It’s Time for New York City” campaign.
MY NYC itinerary, for YOU, to EXPERIENCE.
On instagram I could “only” add 10 videos/pics, while on NYCgo I could only pin 8 spots… so I’m posting all the extra content here 🙌
1️⃣ I’m Laura, NYC content creator and fitness instructor
I’ve been teaching outdoor HIIT classes during the pandemic and I went back to teaching in person at Crunch as of last Oct – I feel blessed as I love my Crunch family and I love my job!!!
You can reach out to me in any moment if you’d like to attend any of my classes and I’m also teaching pole dance workshops in July&Aug… let me know if you want to participate!!!
2️⃣ Italian with a Brooklyn Heart
I’ve been living in Boerum Hill for over 10 years now and I ADORE my neighborhood (especially my extraordinary neighbors!!!).
I’d encourage you to stroll in the neighborhood and through Cobble Hill, Brooklyn Heights, the Squibb Park Bridge, Brooklyn Bridge Park and Dumbo.
Make sure to check out Cobble Hill Park and Verandah place (such a hidden gem!) and to ride Jane’s Carousel... it’s such a fantastic experience for adults as well!
3️⃣ Eating in the neighborhood
Cafè Luluc is famous for its pancakes – plan to be there as early as possible over the weekend if you want to avoid the line 😉 I’m personally obsessed with their unbeatable Nutella French Toast and for their delicious Healthy Salad with Shrimp.
Indulge in a Bien Cuit buttery croissant or enjoy Mia’s Bakery‘s Greek Frappe and Apple Strudel in their cute garden.
Pass by Sottocasa Pizzeria to say hi to my husband Luca and his partner MariaRosa then order the Laura Pizza… yup, I have a pizza named after me!
You might also find me there: I could def live on their authentic Neapolitan pizza!
4️⃣ Outdoor fitness classes
My fav event ever Solstice in Times Square. It’s way too easy being calm and centered when surrounded by nature; have you ever challenged yourself practicing yoga in the middle of Times Square?! Make sure to add it to your calendar for next year – June 22nd, 2022.
Meanwhile, enjoy free outdoor classes in Bryant Park and at the Hudon River Park or take a sky-high yoga class on Wednesday morning at the Edge for $50.
5️⃣ My personal Manhattan favs
Angelina Paris: its Mont Blanc is to die for, and if you’re more into savory, try their Croque-Monsieur… so good!!!
I often meet with friends for brunch at one of Maman‘s location: it’s so charming and the food is delicious!
LouLou petit bistrot is my go-to anytime I’m in Chelsea. I’m also pretty consistent with my order: Grilled Veggie, with charred leeks, asparagus, roasted tomato, smoked mozzarella and balsamic glaze… my mouth is watering right now!
Of course I also have an Italian favorite: Norma Gastronomia Siciliana!
They have two locations, one in Hell’s Kitchen and one in Murray Hill. Make sure to order Panelle as an appetizer and ask for the Cous Cous… it’s the specialty of the house!!!
6️⃣ Rooftops
Rooftop seasons is back and there’s so many great options… here’s the first 3 that popped into my head:
– Magic Hour NY for its instagrammable ops
– Sandbar Rooftop for its unique good-vibes-only Hamptons style
– Top of the Box for its yoga/pilates classes with a view
7️⃣ Governors Island
Last (for now), but not least: spend a day, or even plan your Collective Retreats Glamping experience, on Governors Island, 172 acre island in the heart of New York Harbor: you’ll LOVE it!!!
