“Do you have any hotel recommendations?” – this has been one of the most popular questions I got since I started blogging and that’s why I chose to experience first hands.
I mean… you can’t go wrong with a staycation in New York City 😎
The first hotel Luca and I stayed at is the INNSide Hotel. Being located at 132W 27th Street, Manhattan, makes it very convenient!
Few minutes walking from the Flatiron Building, the Empire State Building, Macy’s, Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, Chelsea and the Highline.
I loved being a tourist in my own City, exploring NoMad (North of Madison Square Park).
Our room (#2006) was very spacious with a minimal/comfortable decor, facing Uptown. Bigger than most of NYC one bedroom apartments 😂
I also asked Alex and Andrew – fantastic hosts – if I could film other rooms to have an idea of how they look like and you can see them all as well in my stories. I was surprised by how big they are. Good value for money!
I personally enjoyed the spectacular Downtown view from the gym – located on the 20th floor… who wouldn’t workout here?!
Ps. Till further notice, because of Covid restrictions, capacity is limited to one household at the time!
Here’s what we enjoyed in the area:
- Zeppola Bakery, 499 7th Ave, New York.
We tasted their amazing bomboloni and sandwich… we’ll definitely go back for more!
2. Maman, 22 W 25th St, New York. Café, bakery, restaurant and event space… we had a delicious brunch!
3. The Wilson NYC, 132 W 27th St, New York – in the INNSiDE hotel’s hall 😉
I’d highly recommend Swiss chard Ravioli, with taleggio & wild mushroom… to die for!
I also had a fantastic Chocolate Budino (oatmilk, granola, raspberry) for dessert even if Alex, the hotel concierge, said: “You cannot leave The Wilson without trying their Carrot Cake!”…
I guess we’ll have to plan our next visit!
