Rooftop season is here!
Here’s my TOP 10 rooftop bars in NYC and why ๐ซ The list is in geographical order, from North to South Manhattan, and Brooklyn.
1. The Skylark, Times Square – 30th Floor
Upscale Rooftop Lounge with warm & cozy atmosphere, seasonally inspired mixologist signature cocktails, delicious bites, and breathtaking views of the Empire State Building and Summit. A classic after-work Manhattan cocktail rooftop lounge, open to the public only during weekdays and reserved to private events on the weekends.
โThe Skylarkโ (blue and very instagrammable) is made with beefeater gin, titoโs vodka, st. german elderflower, dry vermouth, blue curaรงao, lemon juice, and simple syrup.

2. Magic Hour, Times Square – 18th Floor
NYCโs largest indoor/outdoor all-season hotel rooftop bar and lounge, the rooftop deck has different creative spaces, live DJs and and amazing Empire State Building’s view.
Fun and vibrant atmosphere, suitable for groups of friends ready to party, it’s hands down the most instagrammable experience with its colorful (pink dominant), sparkly and edgy design and its inspiring menus.

3. The Fleur Room, Chelsea – 35th Floor
Upscale Rooftop Lounge with a glamorous floral theme, sophisticated decor, and stunning 360-degree views of Manhattan, including the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty. Enjoy mixologist signature cocktails, delightful bites, and a chic atmosphere perfect for any occasion.
๐นโFleur Bloomโ (elegant and floral) is made with gin, elderflower liqueur, fresh citrus, and topped with edible flowers.

4. Sandbar Rooftop, NoMad – 23rd Floor
Summer vibes, retractable roof, swings made out of whiskey barrels, and an extraordinary view of the WTC and the Empire State Building ๐คฉ

5. Somewhere Nowhere, Nomad – 38th/39th Floor
Tallest open air hotel pool rooftop with amazing views, two-level nightclub with live DJs, and whimsical indoor lounge.
Signature cocktails, wine/sparkling by the glass or bottle, and seasonal bites: I loved their Lobster Roll!

๐ 112 W 25th St, New York – located on the 38th & 39th floor of the Renaissance New York Chelsea hotel
6. 230 Fifth Rooftop, NoMad – 20th Floor
THE most famous rooftop bar in NYC, named after its location at 230 5th Ave. Fantastic views of the Empire State Building and Summit. Open year round, serving wine, cocktails or boozy hot chocolate and brunch on the weekend between 11-4pm.
โ๏ธTheir cozy and heated Igloo Bar and cabins offer an incredible view of Manhattan Skyline and the Empire State Building are up till April 15, 2022.
No cover charge, and tables are usually first come, first served.
Reservations are recommended (with a minimum spend) during the weekend.

7. Gallow Green, Chelsea – 7th Floor
Lush and elegant rooftop garden decorated with charming plants and wooden benches and tables, vibrant atmosphere, and view of the New York skyline. Perfect also for sunny brunch every weekend between 10am-4pm, and romantic dinner… I celebrated my last birthday on standing tables at the edge of the terrace, we had a blast!
Enjoy their signature drinks like the “Sleep No More”, with pea flower-infused vodka, elderflower, and rosรฉ cider, and “Gallow Green”, with bourbon, blue curaรงao, citrus, and ginger.
Reservations recommended, especially for brunch.

๐542 W 27th St, New York, located above the McKaittrick Hotel.
8. Jimmy Soho, Soho – 18th Floor
A year-round vibrant and luxurious rooftop pool with Skyline views! The pool is open for ModernHouse Soho’s guests only during the day, however they usually host Pool Party Series – open to all – on summer weekends.
Live DJs, specialty cocktails like the grilled pineapple mojito and upscale and trendy crowd.
Reservations are highly recommended.

9. Ampia Rooftop, FiDi – 2nd Floor
A Mediterranean-inspired bi-level Rooftop Restaurant with floral decor, Italian cuisine, and romantic miniature greenhouses for two.

10. Harriet’s Rooftop, Brooklyn – 11th Floor
Lush and vibrant open-air and seasonal rooftop pool bar with DJs and iconic views of Manhattan – there’s also an indoor lounge one floor below. Craft cocktails, tasty bites and cute pool (still closed for the season).
Reservations highly recommended; it’s a very popular spot.
Make sure to be there for sunset: it’s breathtaking!
